It is OK to be PROFITABLE.
A lot of yoga entrepreneurs think they have to give up some of their yoga "dogma" to be profitable, and have more free time.
You might think, “Well, yoga should be accessible to everybody, so I can’t make money at it because then I would be perceived as greedy."
Or you think, “I like wearing yoga pants every day. I can’t be successful because successful people put on shoes every day.”
(I’m literally typing this with a tank top on, bare feet, and my hair in a messy bun.)
Maybe you think you have to change things about yourself to be successful.
When you give yourself permission to be who you REALLY are and successful, it’s incredibly powerful.
You can be a yoga entrepreneur AND make money. You can be profitable AND charitable. You can be successful AND a yoga hippie. You can have more free time AND be financially secure.
Whatever it is that you are now, you can be the same thing with a profitable business.
Money and success don't change people; they merely amplify what is already there. - Will Smith
If you’re somebody who is greedy and selfish, more money isn't going to change that.
If you’re someone who is nice and ethical and offers an amazing transformation to people who work with you, you can rest assured that money is not going to change that, and you will get to be nice and ethical and offer transformation to even more people!
Money is just a tool that gives us access to more time freedom and more reach to help more people. And isn't that why you started your business in the first place?
Drop the stories about why you can't, or shouldn't, or don't deserve it.
Drop the fear and the anxiety around not doing anything until the pandemic is over. Really? And then what? We never know what surprises are around the corner.
You've got this.
